Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to be seen?
Not always — we welcome physician referrals and self-referred patients. For referrals, we contact the patient the same day and send progress notes to the referring doctor within five days.
What insurance do you accept?
Most major plans including Medicare, Medi-Cal, Blue Shield, Blue Cross/Anthem, United Healthcare, Tricare, Humana, and more. Don’t see yours? Call (619) 470-7700 — we accept many plans not listed.
What languages does your team speak?
Our team provides care in English, Spanish, and Arabic in-office, with 240+ additional languages available through Language Line.
Are tests done in your office?
Yes — echocardiography, nuclear and PET imaging, stress testing, Holter/MCOT monitoring, and vascular ultrasound are all performed in-house, so most patients never need an outside facility.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any prior cardiac records or test results.
Same-week appointments available for physician referrals. Most major insurance accepted.
